If you want to set the author manually every time you create a new article, then you actually don’t need this plugin. This plugin is specifically designed to automatically assign a default post author for all future posts to save time, so you don’t have to set the author during each article posting.
If your workflow requires setting the author on every new article, simply deactivate the plugin, and you will be able to assign authors as usual.
