And – sorry, one more question – is there a simple button to “Empty the Trash”? I read the Codex and didn’t see a specific “go here to empty the trash”. I’m searching through my dashboard menus but must not be seeing it. I can certainly change the default in the config.php file. Thanks!

In reply to: Make page unsearchable in search formThanks! I tried draft and it was still accessible even without being logged in (I think). I had to make the page private too (visibility). But that worked. Thank you. One more question: I deleted a couple pages with a permalink of like: koin or summer – for a specific URL for advertising. I tried to add a new page and change the permalink to koin or summer (pages that had been deleted). But it wouldn’t take. Is there a way to delete these old permalinks out of the database so I can use these URL’s again? Make sense?

In reply to: Make page unsearchable in search formI’m having the same issue. We have a contest that is over and I want the pages to be unavailable if someone had the form bookmarked. I can delete them, but that seems harsh and I will have to save the html somewhere off the WP site then. Anyone?
