In reply to: Posts stopped showing up after I changed settingThanks for the suggestion; I should have tried that before I asked. The trouble goes away with Twenty Fifteen, so it must be something theme related.
I’m using the Foodie Pro theme and the Genesis framework. I’ve asked them for help, but no luck yet.

In reply to: Edit footer textHi Hareesh,
Thanks very much for this suggestion. I somehow managed to get rid of it while completely messing up the footer. I haven’t figured out how to repair it, but I’m planning to just abandon all of this designer’s work, anyway.
Thank you for your help.

In reply to: Zombie page I can't get rid ofYes, I’ve cleared the cache there, to no effect. In fact, I didn’t set up cloudflare until after I changed my theme, so in theory it should never have seen that old page.

In reply to: Zombie page I can't get rid ofIt’s only partially successful. For instance, if I go to gtmetrix and enter http://flourarrangements.org/
http://gtmetrix.com/reports/flourarrangements.org/nEdflaDJIt somehow finds the old page. I recently changed the link on the header image to http://www.flourarrangements.org. Previously, if I clicked on that twice, it would take me to the old version. The first click would be OK, but the second one would give me the wrong page.

In reply to: Edit footer textI commented out wp_footer(), but that had no effect. Looking in the genesis “simple edits” menu, I find this in the “footer Credits text” box
Copyright [footer_copyright] [footer_childtheme_link] · [footer_genesis_link] [footer_studiopress_link] · [footer_wordpress_link] · [footer_loginout]
but when i try deleting this, nothing happens. I also can’t figure out how to edit where the shortcodes point to…

In reply to: Edit footer textI don’t see any plugins that I don’t recognize. Is it possible that one is hidden somehow?
I commented out that wp_footer line in the child theme, but no effect. I didn’t try it in the parent theme (genesis) however, due to dire warnings to not edit that file.

In reply to: Edit footer textSorry, the site is: http://www.flourarrangements.org/
I’ve looked in both widgets and in function.php with no luck. Is there any other function.php besides the one in my theme folder?

In reply to: unintended image clippingThank you! As simple as I’d hoped.

In reply to: Redirect loop and theme missingThink it’s good, thank you!

In reply to: Redirect loop and theme missingOk, that’s worked! I tried many times to recreate the error, but couldn’t. I’ve now re-activated my caching plugin, and still not having trouble… fingers crossed!

In reply to: Redirect loop and theme missingoops, I was in the wrong directory. the old .htaccess is back, but I’ll rename it again.

In reply to: Redirect loop and theme missingMy mistake: I went and viewed .htaccess, and it looks like this:
# Use PHP53 as default
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php53 .phpand my site seems to be working…

In reply to: Redirect loop and theme missingOK, I’ve tried a bunch of stuff in the last hour:
on advice from host support, I did that, and things seem to be working. He then went and renamed the old .htaccess file back to what it was, and it is still working, but I don’t know why.
I disabled my cache plugin (W3TC), feeling like it might be a source of trouble. If having it off continues to help, maybe I’ll try a different one?
I have tried again and again to recreate the trouble and haven’t yet.

In reply to: Redirect loop and theme missingSigh: No luck. I’m still having this same “redirect loop” problem, and I’ve added another one. Let me know if I should start a new thread…
What I’m getting now is a 404 error when I try to do certain things (like save a post, or go to different areas in the dashboard). I’ve reset my permalinks several times, and also reset my php based on suggestions from my host.
Once again, my host has blocked my IP based on the fact that it appears to be trying to brute force the admin.
Any thoughts? I really appreciate all the help.
