In reply to: [Panel] Comics not appearing, already tried previous suggestionsWow, I don’t have that dropdown option. This is all I can see on my Dashboard: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ksnuzqq2ne6e714/WordPress%20Jetpack%20screenshot.png?dl=0

In reply to: [Panel] Comics not appearing, already tried previous suggestionsI don’t see a Settings menu anywhere for Jetpack?
Under that menu in the Dashboard, it just shows a prompt to connect to a WordPress.com account; my site is self-hosted so I don’t use WordPress.com. I didn’t think that was necessary for using the plug-in. At least, that’s certainly implied by the Panel FAQ.
From the Plugins menu, I only have options to edit the php files, which doesn’t sound like what you’re describing.

In reply to: [Panel] Comics not appearing, already tried previous suggestionsHere’s the site: http://dogbirdcomic.com/
I’m not able to get the Comics CPT to appear on the dashboard. I think that’s my issue, that I’m putting the code I’m supposed to add to enable support (the one given here: http://jetpack.me/support/custom-content-types/) in the wrong place. I tried it in several spots in the functions.php section of the Theme editor in WordPress, but nothing changed in my Dashboard display.
I’m very new to this type of back-end work, but I did read the FAQ and as many other forum support posts about the issue as I could. So I think I’m either putting that bit of Jetpack code to add support in the wrong place (which is the easy fix I’m hoping for), or something that’s WAY beyond my skill level is broken.
