Thanks a lot for your answers. So thats the way I will solve this, too.
Hope that newer WP-Versions anytime can use defined classes for the drop-down-menu 🙂

The “manually” is the point, I want to avoid 🙂
My aim is to let anybody without programming skills change/insert contents on that blog. So I of course try to make everything as easy as possible.
What I really want in conclusion is to automatically set icons before pdf, odf and other files. I’ve found some Plug-ins (attachment_list, attachment-manager) for that feature, but they don’t seem to work with actual WP-versions…
Is there any chance to realize this easily?
