I have backed up the database! I am now wanting to put it on the new server, but am not confident with shell access etc.
Thanks guys – I have looked at this but still no joy.
Can someone clarify – I can copy my entire blog folder on the old server and move to the new one. Then make sure the wp-config.php file has right database info in it? I have created a new mysql database on the new server so I think that’s right!
“Note: If you are changing to a new server but same domain, all you need to do is edit wp-config.php and upload everything as it is to your new server”.
This is what I am looking at, is this right?
