GMedia is the plugin. It has a paid version, but I am currently only using the free one. I was thinking that some code could be written as the back end stores the tags under that other heading “GrandMedia_Tags” that stores the actual tag term instead of the front end “gmedia_tag” which is a proprietary numbering system like you said. The relevanssi taxonomy only finds the “gmedia_tag” on setup.
