In reply to: Help recovering blog access@s_ha_dum,
Thanks for a quick reply,Not so sure if you have noticed that the installation in question is not a standalone wordpress installation (hosted at wordpress).Myself I am not aware if those users have access to db, is it possible ?I am left with very few clues on how to fix the problem.
Assume you are discussing a standalone (offtopic):
You are completely wrong to say changing to a new password via db would not be a solution.We can never know how a hacker got a password, may be somebody choose weak password and a hacker got access by using a dictionary. Cant we just fix this by changing password and email via the db ?Thanks hollajamer…Fixed in the 0.0.4 which should be out in like 15mins or so.

In reply to: swahili translationOk I have some replies from the pootle server.Here is his ans;
The files currently on the Locamotion Pootle server differ from the official WordPress files in two ways:1. The version on Pootle is not the very latest version.
2. The version on Pootle has been manually split up to encourage users to start with the admin section first.The situation is as follows:
1. When our systems admin (who has write access for the source files on Pootle) returns from a conference this coming Monday, I’ll ask him to upload the very latest source text files for WordPress.
2. We’ve decided not to split the files anymore. Very few people focused on the admin section first, and it is quite a hassle to split and merge the files manually. So by next week, the WordPress section on Pootle will contain different files.Forum: Installing WordPress

A quick questions, I see that pootle would be a great place to translate wordpress.But I can see that it has separate files instead of just one file wordpress.po?How am I gonna get wordpress.po at the end which is the file I need to use in gettext?I found ans on
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/decathlon/wordpress_filesGenerating/creating the official wordpress.po file
The Notepad methodThe nine files contain no redundant or duplicate strings. This means that you can create the official wordpress.po file by simply downloading all nine files for your language and putting them all together in a single file (be careful not to duplicate the file headers, and make sure your final file does have a header).
