Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Trying to stop a redirect and need helpI did, but I think the plugin was deleted later on.
I solved the issue this way:First I made a backup.
Then I went to my cpanel and found the .htaccess file (which was hidden),
located the redirect promoted by a feedburner plugin within that file,
I deleted that section from # to # then the original URL worked.Thank you everyone for your help!

In reply to: Trying to stop a redirect and need helpThank you for the input Martha. But I’m still struggling to find out how it was done and how to undo it. Is there a way to search the files on cpanel for the redirect and delete it? Or is there a specific folder I should be looking at which dictates the URL for the RSS feed so I can change it?

In reply to: [Flare] Flares content is displaying in og:descriptionI’m having the same issue to with my blog post like http://www.mrryanconnors.com/7-things-never-ever-to-do-on-twitter/. I made the changes to the code mentioned above to no avail. Any other ideas on a solution or timeline for a patch?
Thank you for the quick reply. Basically, the title would display as Mr Ryan Connors Website | %blog_title% or something along those lines. I filled in all of the sections within the plugin and followed the advice, but perhaps I made an error somewhere.
I think the change happened recently though because I try to keep an eye out for that stuff. However I won’t be reactivating the plugin for troubleshooting as I’m waiting to be indexed again with the proper titles and descriptions.
I just uninstalled the plugin. I think there was a compatibility issue with twentyeleven and now the metas are as I wanted them. I just wanted to share because I know others are having the same issue and those wacky tags and descriptions were bad for SEO.
