But I still have the same error even if I do giving out permission 777 to every folder and files.

I am having exactly the same thing. I have a fresh install for first time in my University’s server. They ve got Php, MySql and stuffs.
After I have installed it, the error message shows like permission denied to open wp-load.php.
I did the exactly same steps at my home and it works fine. But I am using XAMPP at home.
I totally have no clue on this. Any ideas to fix it?
arrrr. I am facing the problem exactly the same as you guys. And also I dont have access to the server. Php, MySql and all the configuration files are in that server.
I can only run the php file on the browser and I dont have permission to the above software configurations.
Does anyone have any idea on how to do it? I am really really stuck in that thing. Please, someone enlighten me how to do it if you can.
