I am getting this same Issue.
This is bad, I am currently doing a halloween costume contest.
I can confirm this, I also had many problems with slowness and WSoDs, the slowness and sometimes WSoDs happened when I tried to save the editions done in Gutenberg, I disabled it and now the backend saves and frontend loads fine.
