    We resolved the issues. It appears that there was something corrupt.

    Thank you.

    Those prospects do not make Me happy or confident in continued use or purchase of the upgrade of this plugin.

    Just saying.

    That’s some memory you have!

    I did remove ALL of the CSS codes — way back then — and applied each setting as I desired. The problem remained.

    For some annoying reason, I cannot take a screenshot of the CSS styling that currently exists. So, I copied the text to this pdf file and this is a text file. I hope that is satisfactory.

    Thanks again!

    OK, Tom, thank you, you wonderful Being!

    I do understand and I did apply the imported themes as you described but still had an issue.

    Here’s the thing — and I believe it is caused by something a former web assistant did that got imported with a hosting transfer of My site — the Mobile Menu, when viewed vertically, is still black (see screenshot https://snag.gy/IdCHOu.jpg).

    I am going to make the adjustments manually Myself (Mega Menu-> Menu Themes-> Mobile Menu) when I get a moment this evening and get back to you.

    Thank you so much! I truly appreciate you!

    Thanks, again, Tom,

    I’d like to make absolutely sure that I’m communicating clearly and My intention is to find a solution to cure My problem. I hear you telling Me the same thing twice that is not addressing what I am looking to cure.

    So, the main points for Me are:

    1) This is a repeating problem that after an update, all of My menu csutomizations/settings disappear;

    2) The first time an update erased all of My settings, I believe you provided Me with a code and instructed Me to paste it in CUSTOM STYLING, and both My desktop and mobile menus were restored. This solution worked twice since then when I had setting erasures after the plugin updated;

    3) Since this recent update, the above solution only restored My desktop menu; My mobile menu is a mess; and you’re saying that I should not touch the CUSTOM STYLING/style.css menu because that file gets overwritten every time I make a change. I did not make any changes to My menu because I did not need or want to until this recent update when all of My settings were erased by the plugin update;

    4) Again, you’re saying I have to manually redo all of My customized menu configurations. I do not want to have to manually redo all of My menu customizations every time the plugin updates. This is what I want to solve; and

    5) Why, when I import My settings, does NOTHING happen? What, then, is the purpose of the export/import process?

    I hope I have been more clear — I had the full cup of coffee this time!

    Thank you so very, very much or your time and attention!

    Thank you, Tom.

    Perhaps, I misunderstand you:

    Are you saying that importing a theme does not actually change anything? That one still has to apply the changes manually? Then, what is the point of importing a theme if nothing happens? I don’t get it!

    I mentioned above:

    THE FIX twice before was to add code that Tom Hemsley provided to the CUSTOM STYLING section of MENU THEMES. My site’s menus were restored in both mobile and regular/desktop browsers.”

    Twice before when this problem occurred after the plugin update, both My desktop and mobile menus were restored when I pasted the code you provided in CUSTOM STYLING — it is only this time that only the desktop menu is restored.

    Could there be some hidden glitch that shouldn’t normally be there or something because — as My astrologer neighbor says — Mercury is Retrograde? ~wink

    Thank you so much again and for this great plugin!

    Oops! That “1” is a typo in the topic title!

    @gidvmail

    It would be nice if you posted the solution, please…

    Everything was fabulous and the way I wanted it prior to the WP update. WHY a WP update should reset and remove all of My PostGrid options is a problem.

    Investigating, I discovered that Layout Settings returned to default and when I attempt to reset Layout Editor Settings, no matter how many times I select and save, I receive “Changes saved” while everything I set is gone and this message displays: “you haven’t selected any layout. please select here”

    Please see screenshot here: https://snag.gy/wDvW9k.jpg

    after saving settings: https://snag.gy/p8tXbz.jpg

    I tried a variety of options in the Layout and am now frustrated with duplicate images, overlapping images and text, weird title sizes, and I do not have the time nor brain power) to try to figure this out while dealing with funerals. Otherwise, I would give it a much better shot to troubleshoot.

    I did follow your instructions and set things manually:

    So, can you suggest a few things for Me to try? I greatly appreciate your efforts.

    Thank you so much.

    I have the same experience with plugin deactivation hunting as @tkdoherty.

    Please advise.

    Had the other people who gave this plugin 1 star been more thorough with their experiences, I would have had an opportunity to think twice based on knowing MY website and its history before having the experience that I did have.

    Being more responsible than the others, I stick by My experience, My opinion, and the plugins that actually do work for Me.

    Most people know that plugins can often conflict with other plugins, glitches can occur, etc. etc., and this is not a perfect world.

    Good for anyone who has an opportunity to have gratitude for this plugin and the efforts that have gone into creating it. Gratitude definitely should be given to what is worthy.

    I really do hope that more people are thrilled with your plugin and not annoyed with time wasted as I was and a few others who give it a 1 star rating.

    I do know that someone who understands MY experience will think twice before taking a chance on using this based on knowing their website.

    Success for your future.

    For anyone else who may encounter a similar problem, this plugin created an error:

    “File does not exist: /home/xxx/xxx/index.php”

    causing an HTTP 500 error that was NOT easily fixed by the simple permalinks and .htaccess resets that solved similar, plugin-crash problems.

    Good luck.
