In reply to: my stuff: binslashbash.orgI have a daughter who would like this theme. For some reason I like a strong header to anchor the blog. Absent of such a header I often feel like I “stumbled” onto someone’s personal notes rather than a blog. I know that sounds silly, but it is the impression I get. My 15 year old really likes icons all over and you have plenty of them. I think it stems from her love of her phone!
I will say you did a much better job than I could have done. Good work.

In reply to: Nerds Gone Wild! MagazineVery effective design! One thing that did catch my attention was your site did not fit on my screen. But when I moved over to see what I was missing – it turns out I was not missing anything but the right end of the magazine graphic.
Your articles are easy to find. Your bottom right advertisement slot does break your desing in going from old magazine over to ripped magazine. I assume to bring more attention to the advertisement.
I am impressed!

My only confusion was which articles were from the present issue and which were archived articles. Not sure if that even matters, but I typically can tell when going to a magizine site.

In reply to: New community blog – anyone can postYour site did not come up properly in Firefox. When I reloaded the page in IE it worked ok. On my websites – not meant for computer types, I get about 20 % on Firefox. That would be a big number not being able to see the site properly. You may want to work on that.
