The Dependencies tab does indeed disappear from all product types, apart from the composite product type interestingly enough! https://imgur.com/V3dAAaH is the simple product with the missing dependencies tab, and https://imgur.com/UCIhSV4 is the unofficial composite product type with the dependencies tab.
Apologies that I thought the incompatibility was in your plugin, will contact the other developers and consider the official extension also.
