The though of porting the site into WordPress gives me the fear since I’ve spent a great deal of time making it so far (I’m not a pro, but I’m rather proud of it) and therefore I’m feeling all precious over it.

Using an iframe would be fine provided it allows me to only include the main body (the posts themselves) since I want to keep the navigation in the original site elements. Also, might I assume this would create an issue when search engines tried to index the news page?

Might it be possible to use a php include and just grab those bits of the WordPress output I needed? If so, which of the files are these likely to be?
