Just found out from my provider that I need a Linux package for PHP instead of Microsoft. I have just initiated the switch and will try again.
I guess this isn’t for dummies 🙂
Thanks for your quick help. I have been able to view the readme.html file from http://www.example.co.uk/blog/readme.html and have also ftp’d a copy of this file into http://www.example.co.uk/blog/wp-admin/readme.html and I can view it ok?
My server is with 1and1 and it’s Microsoft.
