Ive managed to resolve this. Please click my previous thread.
I’ve managed to solve this issue! I did two things:
1) I saw there’s a ‘Move Followers from a WordPress.com Site’ option on Jetpack. So I moved my followers from theshoenazi.wordpress.com to theshoenazi.com.
2) I noticed that primary Site was pointing to theshoenazi.wordpress.com, so I changed it to theshoenazi.com
I published a test post and I got an email notif finally!

Hi again,
I didn’t change URL. I tried following my blog using a different account and published a new post. I still didn’t get any update via email. This is a little frustrating. 😐

Hi Tor, thanks for your reply. I’m fully aware of that. I have installed Jetpack the moment I get my hands on my newly transferred blog. The thing is, I have a friend who also moved her blog to a self-hosting. But I guess she didn’t have this problem as I’m still getting updates from her blog via email when she posts a new blog post. I’m getting email notifs such as whenever someone followed my blog but not when I posted a new post.
