In reply to: Want to Remove the Uncategorized Option from CategoriesThank you, csloisel,
That worked!!! Was hoping that I could remove the “Uncategorized” label altogether, but it doesn’t look like it. Thank you so much for your great direction.

In reply to: Author's Name at Bottom of PostMetaprinter, Thanks for the direction. By “self-hosted wordpress sites” you mean sites without the “wordpress” in the URL? Thanks. I will check out the link you posted.

In reply to: Rotate/Adjust Pics in WP PostIan, I too have rotate options in my media edit pages. I was able to edit the one picture. But when I looked for other pictures that were turned askew, I could not find any. Least not in the Media Library. All the pictures there, except for the one, were fine. It’s just that on the site itself where the pictures are turned.
Where do you find the WP version? I’ve tried a few messages, and this is what I found. But when I open the “At a Glance,” I see no WP version. http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/how-can-we-tell-what-version-of-wordpress-we-have?replies=4. Thanks.

In reply to: Rotate/Adjust Pics in WP PostThanks, Ian. As to how the pictures display on my site, most of them are fine. But too many are skewed. See here: http://duarterock.wordpress.com/2012/05/11/duarte-high-school-athletes/.
And cannot find an option to rotate the pictures under the “Edit” option. http://www.screencast.com/t/3Z86YMwxO4. Thank you.

In reply to: There is no user registered with that email address.Bryan,
Thanks. I tried the first two options. Don’t think that the others apply to me. Not sure. But I can’t even get past the sign-in window. I have several blogs/sites with WordPress but for some reason it is not recognizing my email. Thanks.

In reply to: Logging in to Admin Panel or DashboardWorked at your suggestion, actually just the first two that are listed: 1) To Change Your Password and 2) Through the Automatic Emailer. I cannot get past the sign-in window. One error message I got said that my username is incorrect then offers me a chance to change my password. Confusing to me.
I have several WordPress blogs, but for some reason WordPress is not recognizing my email.

Am combing through some now. You’re right. Thanks. And thank you for the suggestion of the tag filter. Makes sense, but good reminder!

In reply to: Menu ChangesI am good for now. Thank you for your replies. Enjoy!!

In reply to: Menu ChangesThank you, and sorry for not posting it earlier. http://fordtruckreview.com/. I was able to access each menu separately by clicking on each menu tab and editing each one on the page itself rather than going through the dashboard. And because this was a cloned site, I don’t know why the original designer didn’t have the menus listed to the right in the dashboard.
