In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] Clicking gallery thumbs to “zoom in” stuck on spinnerIt’s a custom theme created in Artisteer some 10 years ago, so hasn’t been updated recently in any way.
There are a fair few plugins but I don’t think any of them have a need to lightbox.
However, I just realised there is one at the bottom of the list called wp-jquery-lightbox, which I guess is what’s causing the issue? Not sure how or why it was installed. I checked it’s settings and unticked an option to “auto lightbox image links” and now the lightbox option in wppa works just fine 🙂
There aren’t any other images on the site that need this lightbox so I think we’re all good.

I initially thought the rest of the site pages were working fine but further investigation showed that they, too, were being randomly delayed. It turns out the problem appears to be related to another pluggin, NewStatPress, as disabling that has fixed all delay issues. Now off to report on that pluggin.
