It’s working fine now with version 12.5 of JetPack which you released at some point after I posted this issue.

Also should of mentioned that if I disable JetPack and try to edit the “Gallery” page it states …

Your site doesn’t include support for the “jetpack/tiled-gallery” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.
