I would like insert research with categories and tag at the bottom of the page

Sorry but I didn’t understand..it’s too difficult!
Well ok! First I’ve already installed Jetpack and I have Portfolio where I can add new projects.
But I didn’t understand how I can connect portfolio in the home page, I don’t know how to create the Portfolio page template
When I enter in the theme for customizeI have 7 section:
title
color
background images
menu
widget
static homepage (here I can choose latest articles or a page)
portfolio (here I can write the title and choose an image)

I have Editor inside the Theme…but I don’t know what I have to change….
