Thanks for the quick reply. Our wordpress version is currently 5.4.2. Does it have to be 5.4 only? I can try to see if updating to 5.5 will resolve the issue, but won’t be able to get to it till tomorrow.

This was definitely the issue. After remove of this css rule the icons showed up.
