In reply to: Akismet API KeyYes, but I don’t have my welcome email. All of my old mail was deleted when my host changed servers. On all of my pages, under the links (Dashboard Write Manage etc) it has a blue box that says “Akismet is not active. You must enter your WordPress.com API key for it to work.” and has a link to here There is a box I’m suposed to put the API in and next to it a link saying (What is this?). The main point of that page is this:
“To find your key go to your dashboard and then click on “Profile” (or “My Account”) and you should see a sentence that says “Your WordPress.com API key is:” followed by a string of 12 letters and numbers. There you have it! You can copy and paste that string to any place where it is asked for by a service you want to use.
But neither My Account or Profile are on the dashboard, or any other page I’ve looked through. There’s a My Profile page, but that is just the sidebar content.
Is there someway I can get the API emailed to me again or something?
