Why do I sense that all these 5 star comments are fake or bought comments. There are a tonne of us who feel violated by this money grabbing plugin developer. I genuinely have no words for the contempt I have been treated by the support staff. Someone who paid for the product is told they’re not a valued customer may as well slap me and tell me I have to pay for the slap as well. Thanks guys, you really make the internet a wonderful place.
I’d love to know about this superb support, I was told I was too poor for them after they issued a new version moments after I paid for it. I was told that it was my problem that I bought at the wrong time. They now put ads on my site if I try and use the product I paid for. What a delightful product, such kind people.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps - Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Leaflet Map] Excellent !You just wait…. these guys are advesarial with their paying customers. I bought this plugin which they cancelled support for immediately after the next version release which was shortly after I paid for it, they will not continue support for existing and historic customers.
And if that wasn’t hostile enough, they will pipe adverts on your website for gambling websites once you’re no longer a paying customer.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Sprout Invoices - Client Invoicing & Estimates] Promising …but not for me.I totally understand that! I also try to work for a living 😉
I would have been happier to pay $10 / $20 for a half-way functional product than plant myself between a rock and a hard place between the non-working free version vs bells and whistles more-than-I-am-able-to-deliver functionality.
Keep up the good work but this could have been a much better experience for a lowly user like myself. I am by no means objecting to how you do what you do, it simply doesn’t work for me or poor folk like me.
Hi Gaby,
Thanks for the response, however, it’s like you ignored my question and offered me on how to make your plugin work.
I would really wish for support in leaving your product altogether. Nothing personal, I just don’t use it, don’t need it… it’s not you, it’s me! …kind of thing.
Do you have a way/protocol to wind-down, export, migrate out? I ask before I do it manually as I would appreciate your support more than reinventing the wheel here.
This seems like the only honest review on here. Thanks for this, I always read the reviews and get suspicious of overly positive reviews. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Hi there,
I am using “WP Google Maps” Pro and Gold addons. The basic version functions the same but limits the amount of personalized maps.
Steps:
- Writing in visual editor the post optimizing the keyword usage title, slug, headings caption and images.
- Writing in visual editor and keeping the readability good with sentence and paragraph structure to an optimum. Score shows green.
- To insert map, I switch to text editor. Paste the customized map shortcode for the WP Google Maps plugin to show in the post. Switch back to visual editor. Update draft. Reading score turns amber. If I delete the shortcode for the map the rating returns to green.
I’ve been testing this out for a couple of months and it is consistent. I assume it is a false positive, but I would ideally like to be able to add an exception to the SEO plugin so that I can use it as a more reliable guide in the future.

In reply to: [Maps Builder - Google Maps Plugin] google not definedTo follow up this problem I found that the “CSSIgniter Shortcodes” plugin was conflicting with “Maps Builder”, I found after defining the Maps API and telling it to load inside the shortcodes plugin the api was finally loading, which then got me to question why that was.
I tried rolling back the Shortcodes plugin to a previous version when it did work and as if by magic everything returned to normal.- This reply was modified 9 years, 9 months ago by Neilisin.

In reply to: [Page Links To] SQL field column? REPLACE urlsFound it for those interested:
UPDATE
wp_postmetaSETmeta_value= REPLACE(meta_value, ‘old_url’, ‘new_url’) WHEREmeta_valueLIKE ‘old_url’I’m having a similar problem!
I’m currently writing a blog post and the title is: “Site Visit: Parkside Avenue (November)” The plugin is giving me: “Site Visit: Parkside Avenue NovemberNovember%MYSITENAME%“
%MYSITENAME% implies my site title, ordinarily there should be a dash/hyphen between the post title and my site name… however the last word is repeated twice and the dash and spacing is missing (unless I backslash ‘\’ the last word).

In reply to: [People Page] People no longer showingAfter much hacking I got this problem resolved, I’m not entirely sure what did it but after reinstalling the plugin, disabling all cache and setting everything back to basic… then slowly throwing back my theme and script mods it went back to how it was intended to work. Very strange indeed!
Thanks for your time all the same Jethin!
I would like to suggest if you are inclined to make another version of this great plugin, is to allow more control on how the user information is displayed; for example: whether or not the posts are shown… I’ve had to edit it to not display the postsLink, and other controls would be nice.
