In reply to: [Sydney] Site won’t load after theme updateHello Roman – Thank you for your reply.
The 1.58 version download and install was a rollback attempt.
The issue began when I updated to the 1.60 version.
Unfortunately, the rollback to 1.58 did not resolve the issue.

In reply to: [Sydney] Site won’t load after theme updateThank you for your suggestions.
I downloaded and installed the 1.58 version.
The Sydney Toolbox is the most recent version.
I even added the Elementor plugin just in case – and the site still will not load.
I get the bouncing blue dots both when I try to edit a page and when I try to load a page outside of the admin panel.
I’m wondering if there is a cache somewhere I should clean? I’m grasping at straws here.
Any other suggestions? And thanks for your first ideas. They were the most logical 1st step ideas …

Hey Mod – I tried to edit original post later to remove full file path details. I can’t edit it. Could you edit the path or delete this thread? I would really appreciate it. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Resolved.
1. Renamed WPForms folder WPForms_DELETE.
2. Was then able to access WP-Admin panel
3. Deleted WPForms from the Plugins list.
4. Re-Installed WPForms.
All is running smoothly.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Missing wp-admin page in ver 3.4.1I recently switched my primary / secondary domains. WP was originally installed on the primary. It has been relocated to the secondary domain. Everything seemed to be fine re:configurations, etc. until I updated a plugin last week that never re-activated. I logged out, and had not attempted to log in again until yesterday.
Now, when I try to login or logout (site login is required and use a plugin for that), or access the admin panel, I get this error message:
Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://lmsobackstage.org/wp-admin/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.I then hit the refresh button, and okay – I’m logged in or logged out as requested. But that is as far as I’m getting
I used the suggested Sucuri scanning and everything checked out okay.
I ran a tracert command and ran into asterisks on lines 15-30, so initially believed there was a problem on another server somewhere during the connection process. However 12 hours later and it hasn’t been resolved.
Looked at the error log file on the server and the error reported relates to that plugin that never reactivated.
How do I get rid of the plugin when I can’t access the admin panel?
Is it “safe” to simply delete the plugin files off the server via the file admin section, or should it be done only through the WP admin interface? If the latter – what do I do when I can’t access it?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
