I resolved this with these debugging steps:

1. Enable Chrome Developer Tools
2. Turn on mobile device emulation (ex. Pixel 2)
3. Open product image for zoom
4. Inspect img tag CSS classes (I found .pswp__img class)
5. Google for “pswp__img image zoom stretch”. Found out this is Photo Swipe plugin.
6. Google for “Photo Swipe image zoom strech”. Found out “max-width:100%” in “.woocommerce img” class clashes with same attribute in “.pswp__img” class.
7. Set “max-width” or “max-height” (in my case “max-width”) to “none”.
