In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Please remove the notice on the WP DashboardI now see that I need to update to the latest version for the fix to work. That was not clear to me earlier.
I will update this later today and confirm if all works as expected with the message.

In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Please remove the notice on the WP DashboardNeither is correct on my end. The formatting error and missing image still how up, and dismissing the notice does not permanently remove the message.
When I go back to the dashboard, the message reappears again.
As a side note, your dynamiapps site loads incredibly slowly here in a USA location. Beside the problems with this notice, I would not attempt to send users there either unless that would load faster. First page loads times are 10-13 seconds.
If the goal is to grow business, these are not good first impressions the way I experience this on my end.

In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Please remove the notice on the WP DashboardIt also KEEPS reappearing after dismissing the notice when I am doing other Admin activities.
This is VERY annoying and does not fit with the concept of “a leading plugin” status.
Turn this crap off please.
OK, I assume this has to do with the ACF side of things.
For reference:
- I do not use Elementor and have no Elementor theme or related components installed at all.
- I do not use a widget – I use the form shortcode in my page builder to place a button below the Category header on a page
- I did create the form with the Frontend Admin interface
- I used the ACF Field type for this form element, as the date field is part of an ACF Field Group.
Per your info, I looked at the method of using a Date or Date Time field instead. It is not clear to me, in the 10 seconds that I looked at this, how I connect the form field to the ACF field. Perhaps you then need to use the meta name for that to work.
For right now, my workaround is to use another form plugin for creating new posts with a form style (not modal) and use Frontend Admin for the Edit Post function with the modal mode. I suppose I can also use FEA in a non-modal way, but when FEA was “off the air”, I started working on other ways to make this work and have not gone back for BOTH Create and Edit to the FEA method.
If and when this Date Picker bug gets fixed, I will probably switch back to using the FEA modal approach for creating a post, as that is the most intuitive-looking method I prefer. When clicking the Create Topic button right below a Category Name header, the modal would pop up, etc.
What seems strange to me is this: on the Edit Post FEA form, the modal mode works totally correctly. It loads the date from the existing post, and when clicked, the data picker pops up with no issue, and updates dates are saved as expected.
Why it does not work on the New Post / Create Post form seems odd.

In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Want to leave Review but get error and can’t@shabti , To keep my word about wanting to leave a review, I just posted one. I sincerely hope to hear about the Modal form issue I reported but did not want to wait longer.
That actually prompts me to mention that I believe you could be a lot more successful with this great product if your support and communication activity were more consistent.
Also, I think a lot of folks, including myself, would not mind paying a manageable fee for this functionality. For example, I like and also pay for Filter Everything Pro, Ajax Search Pro, IKS Menu, and for full transparency, Frontend Post Submission Manager which has features similar to your Frontend Admin. These are all from CodeCanyon, expect reasonable fees for a manageable number of sites, and provide active support on forums.
I see so much potential for the seemingly basic but HIGHLY powerful functionality your work is enabling.
Either way, I left my review and hope it promotes your great plugin and its popularity! I’m sure you have seen a lot of comments over the years, so please also take my views here as just my 2c.
With gratitude for your work! Cheers.

In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Want to leave Review but get error and can’t@shabti , I would certainly like to, but I had hoped to first see a response to my question / report that the Modal mode has an issue.
That topic is right below this one in the list.

In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Plugin shutting down? Also, this shows the security vulnerability information:
https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/wordpress-plugins/acf-frontend-form-element
I use Frontend Admin behind a login for Post creation and editing, and I am the only user, so none of this was concerning for me personally.
For the overall usage and popularity and the developer’s benefit, it is great this issue was solved. However, it would have been nice if the underlying issue would have been clearly communicated and that it was being worked on.
I too was completely under the impression that the FEA plugin was not going to be available and spent many hours looking for alternatives that would come close, and spent money on plugins that looked promising.
I am glad that FEA is back up and running, but the way this was handled makes me think it is better to use this plugin as a “nice to have” and not a “must have”, in case another glitch of some sort happens.

In reply to: [Frontend Admin by DynamiApps] Plugin shutting down? Thanks Shabti for fixing the CVE security issue. This plugin is the BEST in my opinion for easy frontend creation and editing of Posts with ACF taxonomies. Glad things are back on track!
