Yes i m trying to go to http://yoursite.com/friend/file.php
Okay Chris so I removed the Better WP Security section from the .htaccess file and tested it…still i was facing the same problem…
so you are right that its not issue of the plugin …
But if its not too much may i ask for your guidance in resolving the issue…
as i noticed that accessing a http://yoursite.com/friend/file.png
file is okay …. but accessing a http://yoursite.com/friend/file.php gives a 404 error page from wordpress. so what do u think is causing the difference between a .php file and a .png fileI m trying to directly access a file in that folder called “friend”
