Yes you are quite right it is a permissions problem as I am hosted on a shared Windows server and the hosting company, Fasthosts, does not permit changes to the permissions on this folder.

I have Owner read and write permissions over the Extensions folder. Could you send me the files and I will install them in the Extensions folder? Would that be possible?

I don’t normally have to enter credentials when installing plugins so I am not quite sure why your installation is not working…. the whole of the wp filestructure only has Owner -rw permissions.

I am also interested in the email notification extension too – if this is a solution I guess I will need to purchase it at Paypal and you send me the files for that as well…..
