Oh boy. I have no idea what I am doing.
In my control panel (with web host) I have the public_html folder and in that is the def folder with all the wordpress files.
I have uploaded everything from the backup folder of def and now I go to the def.blackwolfbarcodeprint.com.au and it is blank. Doesn’t even show a message. I was supposed to have finished this website tonight and now do I have to start again?
I’m on the phone to the web host customer support now hopinh they can help.
Is there anyway someone could log in and try for me?

So this is what I have done.
I signed up for crazydomains as my web host and used the control panel to install wordpress where I then used a sub domain to create the website in.
Created the website then went to change the site URL to http://www.blackwolfbarcodeprint.com.au instead of def.blackwolfbarcodeprint.com.au
I have not done this before so in doing this when it said website coming when I went to test I got confused and then changed the wordpress site option to the same url.
In the control panel (through my web host crazy domains) I did a backup of all files and then tried to move the wordpress files to my main directory. When this didn’t work it somehow got deleted.

So I just uploaded the whole of the def folder and its contents into the main directory of my web host panel.

I then go to both URLs listed above and nothing is showing now and I can’t get into the admin at all for wordpress either.

I have no idea what I have done or how to fix this. Any suggestions? I have had a look at your replies but am not too sure what to do and being very new to all of this I don’t quite understand.

I lost all the files when I went to move them in my database directory.
I have done a backup so I do have all files on my hard drive but being such a newby to this I don’t know how to do a mass upload of all the files back into the database.
Tried calling my web host for help but their phone line isn’t working for some reason

Ok so I have managed to change the menu colour finally by creating my new background colours as images and putting them in as a URL
I still have a part of the green showing and I have no idea how to change that. Can anyone see in the code where this would be?

    Hi esmi
Sorry I am completely new to this. I am using wordpress and editing the website through my internet browser. Is the option of changing those permissions in there? I have not downloaded wordpress onto my computer.

123milliseconds. I don’t quite understand what you mean sorry.
This is the site URL http://def.blackwolfbarcodeprint.com.au

No I wasn’t editing the screenshot. I installed the Martin theme in wordpress under the install theme tabs in the admin area.
I tried changing the green colour through editing the code but had no idea how to do it as when I changed colours it wouldn’t make a difference.

So I downloaded the zip file to my computer had a look and found the image files that it is using for the menu background (5 different files are used some solid green others a gradient green)
I opened up photoshop and opened up those 5 files and changed the colours to purple.

I then zipped the file again and tried to install it into wordpress by uploading it but it came up with an error saying “The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/blackwol/public_html/def/wp-content/uploads/2011/03”

If you are able to help me out that would be great as I am stuck at the moment as to how to change the colour. Even if it is not a gradient colour and just a solid colour that would be great as green is not part of the colour theme
