Got it.
It was embarrassingly easy. I just added .entry-summary to the jQuery selector so now it works in both the excerpts and posts!

I’ve installed the plugin and it sizes the videos fine but however I have allowed video embeds in the excerpt and it only shows up there where as on the actual post page, it’s missing.
I thought it was my code at first but once I deactivate the plugin, It appears again.
Any idea what might be happening? I’m on localhost so I can’t link.
