hmmm. I can find no field in which to place a manual excerpt. Do you know where it would be? Or if there isn’t one, how can I modify my theme to allow this?
Ok, after grinding for a week, I’ve found a simple plugin solution.
I thought I’d link to it here in case anybody else finds there way to this thread. The plugin is called Kalin’s Post List, and here’s an excellent tutorial about how to use it.
The Plugin really powerful for making lists of all kinds (and especially lists of posts). One of the best plugins I’ve come across.
Unfortunately, after staring at those pages, I’m not much closer to understanding how to do it. As I say, I don’t know PHP. Any other suggestions?
