I think re-captcha is a must have for the widget, because I use this widget for two years now and see more and more bots using the widget to fill in e-mail addresses lots of time and also repeat it frequently. At the moment there are 50+ e-mails send out to 10+ email addresses within 24 hours only from one website using this widget!!
I have the same issue after updating to the latest version 5.2.1
Seems that there is problem granting access for admin role by default. Had to roll back to grant access again.
