Thanks Anders. You are correct. I found the culprit. The Move Comments plugin should have been disabled. It strips the formatting from posts when updating; and causes the abovementioned ‘nothing left to load’ when viewing the post archive. Resolved and closed 🙂

I tried the following for center-aligned.
Work fine on desktop but not on mobile (cuts off text on the left hand side).
