    Hi David,

    Understand and will do.

    Many thanks,

    Nigel.

    …and the theme is Flatsome v3.13.0

    Hi Danny,

    Thanks for coming back to me so quickly.

    I have the following plugins activated:
    Akismet 4.1.7
    Classic Editor 1.6
    Custom Facebook Feed Pro 3.15.2
    Easy WP SMTP 1.4.2
    Flowpaper 1.9.6
    Formidable Forms 4.09.01
    GDPR for FF 1.0.5
    GADWP 5.3.10
    OneSignal Push Notifications 2.1.4
    OS Sender 1.4
    PDF Embedder 4.6.1
    Post Expirator 2.4.1
    Slider Revolution 6.2.23
    Data443 GDPR Framework 1.0.40
    UpdraftPlus 2.16.17.24
    Woocommerce 4.7.1
    Wordfence 7.4.12
    WP 2FA 1.4.2
    WP Google Map Pro 5.1.2
    WPBakery 6.4.2

    The error is thrown as soon as I try to login, it does not seem to matter if I am using a freshly started browser/window, or not. I have also tried clearing browser caches etc. with no difference.

    No, I have neither of those options enabled as I have selected the “Users have to configure 2FA straight away” setting, with no grace period allowed.

    I activated the plugin again and got the same result: “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”.

    WP_DEBUG did not indicate any errors and no WP_DEBUG_LOG was created.

    I am happy to provide you with an Admin login should you wish to explore further.

    Thanks again for coming back to me, that is excellent service and much appreciated.

    Best wishes,

    Nigel.

    I am having exactly the same problem and I too have Wordfence installed.
    Yes, I know Wordfence includes 2FA functionality, however, for my own reasons I want to force users to immediately use 2FA and WF does not include this as an option.
    I have looked at other “free” 2FA plugins and, unfortunately, have moved on from all of them when realising they offer limited functionality (unless you are prepared to pay and then *hope* it does what you want).
    My workflow:
    I installed WP 2FA on an exisiting website and it setup without any issue whatsoever.
    On trying to login on a seperate browser in order to test the functionality, I received the mentioned “Too many re-directs” error message.
    I de-activated Wordfence, which made no difference.
    I de-activated WP 2FA and could login OK.
    Having logged out I re-activated WP 2FA and tried again – and got the error.
    I de-activated WP 2FA and could login OK.
    I re-activated Wordfence, logged out and could log back in without problem.

    I have tested this using Firefox, Chrome, Edge (well, someone must use it somewhere) and Opera, all with the same problem.

    I must say the WP 2FA *looks* the most promissing but if I cannot get it to function properly… 🙁

    Any help, advice or guidance you can give would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    I have the same issue on non-https: sites but seems to work fine on https:

    Hi Greg,
    Thanks for coming back to me so promptly.
    I think I’ve narrowed the problem down to an issue with X’s sidebars.
    If I try to do a category list with a sidebar on the same page, it shows as described above, however, if I remove the sidebar, it displays properly, although across the entire width of the page.
    I tracked that down to the default setting I had for the X template (full width with no container), clashing with selecting to have an “inner container” on the row containing the [adverts_list] – which it seemed to “ignore” and go full-width anyway.
    I resolved that by choosing to have a non-default template for the page which already had an inner container for the whole page, rather than just the row. It also shows the search form correctly now too.
    Ain’t life fun!
    Thanks again for your help and I hope you have a brilliant Xmas and New Year!

    So, following a fairly lengthy “Chat” session, it turned out there had been some sort of “update” that changed the mod_security settings on my VPS. Unfortunately, despite asking three times what the changes were and what was done to correct them, the “Chat Operator” declined to provide an answer.
    However, the site is now back up and running as it should be (so far anyway…)
    I don’t know if this also your problem but I hope it helps.

    This may not be any help but I am suffering with the exact same problem and think I have tracked it down to a Cookie: “_wp_session”.
    If I delete this cookie then everything springs back into life… until the next time it happens …and so I delete the cookie and all is well again… until… you get the picture I’m sure!
    I have also spent many hours over the last three days trying to figure this out and made all the changes mentioned above but still no luck.
    If anyone can shed any light on this, I/we would be eternally grateful!

    Yes, I have got it to work but it’s not the best solution as it should work “out of the box” but, as you said earlier, it is probably a conflict somewhere.

    About the forum rules, that is why I asked if it would be possible to PM you, it would be crazy to put login details on a public forum!

    As for the site having to be publicly accessible, I find that a little odd as you would not want to make a development site publicly accessible until you were happy that it is functioning correctly – including all plugins etc. Surely there must be a better way than having to make an un-finished site public and potentially upsetting your customer’s clients?

    Just a thought….

    Thanks again for your support.

    OK, this seems to be a positioning issue.

    This is what I have done in custom css to get round it for now:

    .rslides img {
    border: medium none !important;
    box-shadow: none !important;
    position: relative !important;
    top: 0px !important;
    bottom: 0px !important;
    left: 0px !important;
    right: 0px !important;
    margin: auto;
    }

    Hi Greg,

    Is it possible to send you a Private Message with Admin/Login details (as the site is not yet live)?

    Regards,

    Nigel S.

    Thanks Greg – your support is simply brilliant (and very, very much appreciated)!! 🙂

    Cheers buddy!

    Hope you get yours sorted asap – and also that WC 2.5 solves the problem, as we can’t stay on 5.5 forever!

    All the best.

    Nigel.

    PS. John Belushi really IS the man!! G’night!!

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It’s worked!

    Dropping back to PHP 5.5.31 has sorted it – even complex variable products now function!!

    Now, where’s that JD? 🙂

    Nigel.
