I’m not sure, but I believe you didn’t understand my problem.

At Admin > SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types, I can configure how to show the %lt;title> for the homepage (not at General tab).

But I would like to have the homepage a different usage than all other posts. For the homepage, I don’t want to have the page title and I don’t want to see the separator. But I want to see both for all other posts and pages.

So my idea was: An empty title for the page of the homepage and the (Separator), but the separator should be hidden automatically, because the page title is empty. But this does not work automatically and I can’t find out, how to define a different SEO title for the homepage and all other pages.

… maybe there is no solution with Yoast and I have to do this by myself with a filter to pre_get_document_title.
