Hi, thanks for the update.

Some background to the error: this might happen, if sometime your banner config json is corrupted. In that case it tries to heal itself and it seems to have worked in your case. However the error message is pretty unnice. In a future release this will be improved. Thanks for pointing that out.

It is really not our claim to have such a long response time, however in rare situations this might happen. I apologize for this. I am happy for you that you could resolve your use case with your own plugin in the meantime.

Regarding the bug:

I was not aware that this was an issue in the free version, as we were not able to reproduce it in the free version for whatever reasons. The ajax functions just worked fine, in the settings we were testing.

Would you mind to share some additional data? That would help us reproduce the issue.

1. The export of the banner config would be extremely helpful (from tab: Im / export)
2. Some screenshots or maybe even videos how the error looks like in the frontend.
3. Maybe some details on postX configuration if you think they are worth mentioning?
4. Your WP Version and PHP Version.

That would be really helpful.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I completely understand that updating and testing plugins across many sites can be a lot of work.

We always aim to develop this plugin according to WordPress standards and to minimize potential issues. However, it’s not possible to test every possible combination of hosting, themes, and other plugins.

In general: when issues come up, we want to address and fix them as quickly as possible.

Each release comes with a detailed changelog. If the fixes or features in a specific update don’t affect your setup, it’s safe to skip that version. Only security updates should be installed immediately.

For example, if you weren’t affected by the bugs fixed in the last X.X.1 release, there was no need to install it on all your sites.

I hope my explanation make sense to you and you have more understanding for the current process

It is a CSS conflict with the two themes (Dark turquoise, Elegant Black) of the “banner 2”. Will close this ticket, as it is per ww.wp.xz.cn ToS not allowed to offer support for paid add-ons with this forum.
