In reply to: [Wordpress Forms] won't redirectI applied a theme bugfix and it resolved the issue. Nevermind.

In reply to: [Wordpress Forms] won't redirectI would like the form to redirect to http://cocktailscatering.com/?p=19. As it is, I’ve got a link in the confirmation statement that works, sorta.

In reply to: several AJAX features on post edit screen not workingOddly, I did a “quickinstall” of the whole thing from SimpleScripts (I use shared hosting from iPage), restored the database and the theme customizations, and now it works. I have no idea why.

In reply to: several AJAX features on post edit screen not workingI’m using PHP 5.0 and mySQL 5.0 on a shared Apache hosting account with iPage. I’ve TRIED to be polite about this, but I’m getting hateful, snarky remarks back instead of help. It’s not a major source of income, so I’ll just rebuild the darn thing from scratch and use a different theme. You people haven’t been any help at ALL, and I can’t wait any longer.

Yes, I’ve downloaded 3.1 and manually upgraded it. It doesn’t work in current Firefox, IE, Opera, Chrome, or Safari browsers. It doesn’t work with the 2010 theme, and it doesn’t work with NO plug-ins. I’ve gone to the thread suggested by Robert Carter and csnnot locate a call for the wrong version of jQuery; I’ve posted on the Atahualpa (3.6.4) forum, but not yet gotten any response. However, it does not seem to be a theme issue or a plug-in issue. The look of my site is unique, and can’t be replicated with another theme that I can see. I really would just “un-do” this upgrade if I could. I can’t find a straightforward way to do that, though. I’m really at a loss.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.1 | Post > Add New > Add an Image Doesn't Pop-upThere doesn’t be a straightforward way at this point to “downgrade” WordPress to 3.05 so that it will work; how do I do that?

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.1 | Post > Add New > Add an Image Doesn't Pop-upokay– I’m not clever enough to figure out how to call an older version of jQuery, and my problems persist even with the 2010 WordPress theme– I’ve posted a support concern at the atahualpa forum to inquire if that’s the issue, and if so, whether they can fix it– however, it really pisses me off that 3.05 worked fine and 3.1 doesn’t. Did jQuery update in the last few days or something?
Thanks–
I used the fix outlined on that page, and it worked fine. So I guess the WordPress gods are aware of this glitch, although I for one would like it if it were eliminated. But hey, whatever works, right?

In reply to: Post title header doesn’t updateyup– it’s a silly atahualpa theme issue… turns out, that theme actually creates some extra variables for different headlines for posts on different pages, and then doesn’t update them and hides the entry fields for updating them… it’s annoying, but I got it.

In reply to: date format won’t updateokay, it was a stupid syntax error… I wasn’t including the date format parameters in single quotes. Oops, my bad.

In reply to: Post title header doesn’t updateyup, it was a theme issue, not a WordPress issue… I’ve fixed it, thanks, and made the theme development team aware of it.

In reply to: Editing post title not workingdougcoe says that the Atahualpo developer forum discusses a post title edit option “further down the post edit page” … I cannot find that page or that option. Details?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: date format won’t updateI’m attempting to update the timestamp in the theme, indeed. The Atahualpo theme has its own settings dashboard which gives options for text (or code) to include in kickers, bylines, and footers for each post… the setting under ‘bylines’ worked at first, and other parts of the byline (like the email reference, for example) update fine… the date, though, keeps displaying in g:i a format no matter what format I indicate. It appears to be overridden somewhere. The direct php code doesn’t work either. No matter what, the date displays in the format
date(g:i a)… I have no idea what’s going on.Thanks for your suggestion, though.

In reply to: Post title header doesn’t updatethe post_data values are correct… they show the updated title, not the original title. I’ve cleared the cache, but I wonder if perhaps my browser (ff3.5) is outsmarting me somehow. The post title displays correctly when a new theme is applied or some change is made that requires a fresh database lookup… so the problem is apparently related to a cache, not the software. Thanks for your attention!
