It’s actually the opposite issue – the form *shouldn’t* be submitting with contact form 7 as it does properly on the live site. Now it is submitting on the staging site which is not the desired outcome.
Also, the theme on the staging site and the live site are exactly the same, the only difference is the update of Contact Form 7 so if it were the template or plugin, it would be affecting both sites.
