I have a blog, so I do not have a thank you page. I just want people to subscribe off the home/welcome page. So, are you saying I should add “subscribe2” in parentheses to the text of the home/welcome page on my blog by editing that?
Sorry, I am new to all of this and everything has worked through wordpress except for this so I am a little lost.

Okay, thanks. I will check with them. In the meantime, when I try to use the built in widget, it just says “Subscribe2” in the sidebar and does not provide a place for anyone to type and submit their email addresses.
Thank you for the prompt response. I clicked on the “enable subscribe2 widget” box as recommended.
I still have not had success getting the conf email sent to either of my email addresses, but perhaps this is bc i tried these two already without that being enabled?
do i need to add the subscribe2 widget to the sidebar in addition to the subscribe2 pro widget that is already there?

I’m new to blogging, but I’m using a host (InMotion) and wordpress on http://chasingfog.com
I have installed and activated Subscribe2 and checked the settings based on the FAQs and forums I’ve found thus far for this plugin. I’ve had several people tell me they have never received the confirmation email. I’ve tried two of my email addresses and same thing–no conf email. It also shows on my Subscribe2 settings that I have no subscribers.
Specific help steps would be great! Thanks!!
