the hicky translations seem to be related to directions and simple stuff like that.. not sure if there is maybe other plugins interfering.. definitly looking forward for the cloud9 and parallax option

maybe you could have hints in a other corner of the selections, like
shift + drag = copy
and other modifier keys
rightclick + drag
ctrl, meta etc..
