    It looks like your requirements don’t fully align with the plugin’s current functionality.

    Based on the plugin code, the post status is set to draft when it reaches the expiry date configured by the admin in the backend.

    From your requirements, it seems you’re asking to disable the post on the frontend instead. If needed, you can fetch posts with a draft status and an available expiry date, and display them as disabled on the frontend accordingly.

    Please note that the plugin does not perform any operations related to category assignment, so that specific functionality is not feasible at this time.

    We have released a plugin update that includes the ability to delete the expiry date from the post backend.

    Thank you for your direct feedback on this.

    Please update to the latest version of the plugin to use the delete expiry date feature.
