I hope it is alright to add a different perspective to this thread. There are non-profits, academic research projects and institutions that are not bringing in any income from their websites. Having a program to address this category would be helpful, since it isn’t exactly personal and it isn’t exactly a company. Thanks for your great work!
I also had to disable it, I had the same thing happen. A white screen instead of a site. Child theme of buddypress default.
