David – you are the man!!
Your observation that “The problem seems to be related to how Chrome interprets the CSS styling added by your Theme” was the key to the solution…
my mla_gallery shortcode was wrapped with a “code” element like that:
[mla_ gallery](I didn’t even think to mention it in the description…).Following your observation I removed the
wrapping and it solved the problem.I truly appreciate your time and efforts.
Thank you so much!Until next time,

I am using the PhotoSwipe Masonry Gallery Version: 1.0.4, by Dean Oakley plugin…
As usual David, thanks for going an extra mile with every reply π
I apologize for consuming so much of your time…
The Justified Image Grid plugin that you have found in your research, led me to try the Photoswipe plugin.
It works perfectly fine with the basic WP gallery as you can see in this link:
http://www.fusion-wedding.com/real-weddings/my-first-weddingWhen I use it together with MLA Gallery plugin, the tiled mosaic layout is breaking and I get these results (one column of images rather than mosaic):
http://www.fusion-wedding.com/galleries/If you look closely, you’ll see that for a brief second the images load in a mosaic layout before they are re-arranged in one column.
The problem with TGCWJP plugin was quite similar – the mosaic layout was working in a basic gallery, but was breaking when used together with MLA Gallery.
In both cases it’s working fine in IE browser.I’ld appreciate your advice.
Thanks again!!
I appreciate your help π
I fixed the 1st HTML error you mentioned.
I think that the TGCWJP plugin is the problem.
I found this support ticket with a quite similar issue in their support center.I also noticed that TGCWJP stopped their support 8 months ago, so I think I will search for another plugin to provide me the tiled mosaic layout option.
Are you familiar with such a plugin that works well with MLA Gallery?
Preferably (but not mandatory) one that extends the basic gallery configuration options and not one that would create a completely new media folder…Thanks again for your help David!
Hey David,
I am also using the TGCWJP plugin.
In this thread, you suggested that I would use the “type=rectangular” in the mla_gallery shortcode in order to show the images in Tiled Mosaic layout.
When I use the “type=rectangular” parameter in the shortcode, the images indeed show in a Tiled Mosaic layout, but they disappear from the screen within a second.
You can see an example in this link: http://www.fusion-wedding.com/galleries/
When you filter all images, I use this mla_gallery shortcode (including the “type=rectangular” parameter):
[mla_gallery post_parent=all post_status=published link=file mla_viewer=true orderby=date order=desc mla_alt_shortcode=gallery type=rectangular columns=5 attachment_category=”‘ . $all_categories . ‘”]When you choose one category (Grooms, etc..), I use this mla_gallery shortcode (without the “type=rectangular” parameter):
[mla_gallery post_parent=all post_status=published link=file mla_viewer=true orderby=date order=desc mla_alt_shortcode=gallery columns=5 attachment_category=”{+request:gallery-filter-category+}”]I never bumped into something like that.
Do you have suggestions? Thanks again for your much appreciated help π

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] mla_gallery basic shortcode doesn't workThanks for your help and quick reply David – it worked like a charm π
I have one more question (LMK if you prefer to open a new thread)…
I am using Tiled Gallery Carousel Without Jetpack plugin because I want to use the “Tiled Mosaic” gallery type.
I followed your instructions in this thread from 2 years to create this shortcode:
[mla_gallery attachment_category=grooms mla_alt_shortcode=gallery type="tiled mosaic"]Unfortunately, the type parameter is not working and I still end up with the default “Thumbnail Grid” gallery type.
I tried several text variations of this type (e.g. “Tiled Mosaic”, tiled-mosaic, tiledmosaic, etc..) but it didn’t help.Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks again,

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Share buttons not showing on custom post typesThanks for your help, I resolved the problem.
The AddToAny share buttons didn’t show in my custom post types since I excluded the default WP description field from this custom post type.
Once I added the description field to my custom post type (using CPT UI’s interface), the AddToAny share buttons were added to my custom posts.
Thanks again π

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Share buttons not showing on custom post typesThank you for the quick reply.
I tried re-activating the theme as well as deactivating all plugins, but the share buttons weren’t added to my “Real Wedding” custom post type (even though the “Display at the top & bottom of Real Weddings” check-box is checked under the “Placement” options).
You can see it here:
A regular post with a share menu before/after post: http://www.fusion-wedding.com/creative/praesent-et-urna-turpis-sadips
A “Real Wedding” custom post with no share menu before/after post: http://www.fusion-wedding.com/real-weddings/my-second-weddingI don’t understand what is the problem…
Any idea?Thanks again π
