The issue plugin was:
PressPermit
by PublishPress
I think the issue was with some sort of permissions, maybe Page-List could not access the subpages anymore. Bizarre. Well, now we know there is some conflict there.
I gave that a shot… It didn’t seem to work. I also tried a way older one, 4.3 just out of curiosity… No dice.
Here are some of the changes I’ve made since it was working (I didn’t notice it until today and all these changes happened over the past two days)
Installed WooCommerce
Updated WordPress
Updated All other plugins (including page-list)
Installed WP Mail SMTP
Installed My Custom Functions
Deactivated My Custom Functions (out of suspicion that it caused the problem)
