In reply to: [Astra] Account ButtonI am also seeing this behaviour on a couple of development sites. Hoping for a fix before they go live.

In reply to: Automatic update that should not happenI can confirm that this has also happened to me. At least one site I manage that is set to security/incremental updates only, yet it has updated.
I’m not sure what the difference is with this site and the others that I manage.- This reply was modified 4 years ago by nix255.

In reply to: CSS issue’s with new WP versionIf it helps you I have found that columns made with the gutenberg column blocks now have margins added whereas there were no margins before. This has caused issues on some of my layouts, especially ones that relied on columns being flush together. I have added custom css to remove the margins on columns which fixes it.
It would be great if there was more control on padding and margins with the column blocks.
Did you find a solution to this? I am looking to do the same thing with wp all import plugin.
Just to add to the discussion, this can be quite an urgent issue if you have tight security set up with Wordfence. If you have throttling or even blocking for too many 404 errors it is causing visitors and even site editors to experience slowness or to get blocked from the site. Hopefully you can fix this quickly, I have had to disable wp-optimize temporarily on one site.

In reply to: [Pronamic Pay] Add url parameter to status page with Formidable FormsThank you for this, it works brilliantly!
Seems the plugin is no longer available. Pretty angry with @AmazonAssociatesProgram. Terrible service. Lack of support. Still have the link for it in the Amazon associates area that goes to the resources center and NO MENTION of the plugin, what’s happened to it, what happens to the users. I would expect better from Amazon. I am livid.
Thank you for your very detailed reply.
I have managed to fix the problem with the incorrect default language being shown in VIKBooking. It wasn’t enough to deactivate and reactivate WPML, I had to deactactivate WPML and then change the WordPress language in the settings, and then reactivate WPML. I think this is because the site’s default language was originally English and later changed to German. It now works correctly.
I couldn’t solve the problem with the CSS file loading in the middle of the page. I look through the theme files but couldn’t see anywhere where it is loading the css in the footer or anywhere else. I am not sure where the problem is. I deactivated all plugins in case there was something causing it there, but the problem was still there.
I have had to add the css to the custom css template in the VIK booking configuration. I hope this will not get overridden when the plugin updates.
Thanks for the reply, I have deleted the extra custom fields from the database, and you were right I had extra characteristics as well. All fixed now.
Thanks for your help. I can confirm that both issues have been resolved in the recent updates.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Block cookie from functions.phpon my website AddToAny is setting this cookie: __cfduid
So it is setting a cookie, even on pages where the sharing buttons are not displayed. Therefore this cookie needs to be prevented from loading if a visitor rejects cookies. Is there a way to do this? What is this cookie for?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Compliance by Hu-manity.co] is it compatible with cache plugins?I have this same question. If a page is cached with analytics turned on, does this mean it will be turned on for all subsequent page hits using the cache? I’m using wp-supercache

In reply to: [Compliance by Hu-manity.co] Cookie notice and MonsterInsightsIt’s rather annoying that something as important as this requires a paid plan from monster insights. I’m afraid for me that means goodbye to monster insights as it is easier to just add the analytics code to the Cookie Notice scripts box. So no, it isn’t really compatible at all.

In reply to: [Bad Behavior] Bad Behavior and GDPR complianceI have done some further research and discovered that the cookie used by bad behaviour has been deprecated, so it no longer uses the bb2_screener cookie.
