In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Timezone ErrorAh ok thanks. I updated the docs a little bit. So did you try changing it and did it make a difference?
I did, and it’s all set now. Thanks for following up.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Timezone ErrorIt’s a Google Calendar.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, but… the reason is that it’s unclear how to actually get to that setting.
It might warrant an update to the documentation. I was looking for that under Calendars > Settings > Advanced. But it’s actually under Calendars > All Calendars > Edit [specific calendar] and at the bottom of that edit page. Bit more context would be helpful.
Also worth noting the calendar shortcode format changed from gcal id to calendar id.

This setting.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Timezone ErrorInclude me as another user having a timezone issue.
I double checked all the timezones in Google and WP settings, and everything looks fine. But I wasn’t able to locate the setting referenced for the plugin on the page you provided. There is no such toggle in the setting, at least that I see.
n.
After a little more digging on my part, I’ve learned it’s not any of the plug-ins conflicting but rather the theme (which was designed/built before my time).
I remove any instance of a javascript include, but the error still happens.
Is there anything else I should be on the lookout for? Something in the CSS, maybe? Seems like an odd place for a functional error, to me at least.
@emil – I used the contact form on your site to send you the URL.
@emil – that’s part of it (the navigation stacking). The other part was the typeface size of the post headline. It’s quite larger, taking up valuable smartphone real estate. But, looking now that doesn’t seem to be the case.
And, yes, I was too quick to apply “responsive” to this. My mistake. Point being, the plugin does seem to do a bit of undoing of what the theme does for smartphone layout… that’s all I was really trying to point out.
Here is how the page loads with the recommendation you supplied:

Here are the header/footer view with the plugin disabled.

When I activate the plugin, the mobile view doesn’t display correctly.
When I deactivate it, it does display correctly.
To me, that’s a bug. If I’m mistaken or doing something incorrect, I’m willing to learn what.
