Logging in from chrome (on windows 7) incognito and the site kit diplays OK.
Logging in from chrome (on windows 7) normal window and the site kit diplays OK.Logging in from firefox on linux mint xfce and it has the problem (on the problem site but not on the other site)

Logging in from firefox “private window” on windows 7 and it displays OK
So it comes down to firefox on Mint and firefox normal, not private window on Window7 but only on 1 site and not on the other (both open as tabs in the same browser, both on same server, both with almost identical plugins as mentioned).
Should i remove and reinstall the plug in on the problem site at this stage or is it useful for you for me to keep it running…
NMre your point 1. full site health info uploaded. i noticed in passing that there were some red markers alongside the Sitekit entry but i could not interpret them.
re 2. if you mean from what firefox calls a Private Window then i cannot login to wp-admin at all – i think it could be the settings i have in WP Security that are preventing this.
re. 3. I can see a minification setting in Cache Enabler but this is OFF. please tell me from the list of plugins that was contained in the full site health info uploaded whether there are other plugin settings i should check in case they are enabled by default.had similar problem starting yesterday and continuing today. strange thing is site kit is working fine on another site i have with an almost identical set of plugins and same theme.
