Hi @satoriassecret.
1. How did you go about changing the database prefix?
To answer your question, yes and no.
Changing the database prefix worked for one installation on the fly. However, on another installation changing the database prefix didn’t work.
On the installation that didn’t work, there were more store items and product variations, etc. I’m not sure if those things came into play because I did recreate the site from almost scratch as to spare the time of figuring it out, instead of implementing a solution. Woocommerce is supposed to work with any database prefix, so this problem had to be a series of things (plugins) I suppose. We never got around to further testing this problem.
Feel free to message anything back and you will get a response in a timely fashion.
Thanks @satoriassecret,

Hey littlebizonline, actually yes! I’m hoping you had the same problem as me though so this will be the fix.
My problem was that I changed my database prefix from “wp_” to “Something_Different_Here_”.
Did you happen to do that?
If so the Change DB Prefix may help. You can use it to change your database prefix.
This helped on the fly for the trouble shooting store I created, but it did not help on the fly for the actual store. So, I built the store the same way as on my client’s site but with the original database prefix and EVERYTHING works smoothly!
Let me know if that helps!

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Pro Version rocksI just want to comment that I feel the EXACT SAME WAY!!
The Toolbar Add-on & iFrame option really are just… muah! Perfecto!
Oh, there is one other thing you can do to check your website speed. That is download “Yslow” for Google Chrome. It will let you test the website speed of any page and give you specific details on what can be improved to optimize your website’s speed performance.
Sorry to hear about the problems you are having, especially if you can’t get rid of something.
And I hear what you are saying about a world of conflicting plugins, ha! I hate it.
I actually found before moving to a new host that just having the right plugins (through testing) and they don’t conflict actually let my website be faster than by using caching plugins.
Best wishes, SRH! Hope it finals out smooth for you!
Hey SRH, if everything works fine you should be ok. Another member told me they didn’t have the problem I ran into, and I only noticed the permissions alert when I was running through the Security Ninja tests. I had used it before and never seen the permissions alert. So you can give a go, although I don’t recommend using a plugin that becoming so old and not updated. But it does work I’m sure. The biggest problem you may run into is it not being compatible with future plugins you may use, because it’s not updated. Other than that give it a go. If you need to really measure your website speed you can always check out http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
I don’t use any caching plugins anymore because I moved to WPEngine for WordPress hosting and they don’t allow it, because their caching system is built in. If you are looking for great speed and you can check them out @ http://wpengine.com
Glad it worked for you just now seeing your raving 5 star review!

In reply to: Protected site with different logins/passwords?Hey Esshahn, I’m not sure if you still need this but, WPMUDev already has this as a plugin. You can check it out at http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/password-protect-selected-content.
I am looking for a multi password set up for individual passwords and found you post so I thought I would help.
Take care,

In reply to: [Tabify Edit Screen] Woocommerce compatibilty ?Hey, awesome plugin Marko!
Question, is what you are referring to as the Dev version the Dev version of Woocommerce? I ask because I couldn’t find an updated version of your plugin, so I’m assuming it’s Woocommerce and hasn’t been officially released yet.
The problem I am having is just that the “Product-Data” meta box always stay in my last custom tab. Will the Dev version fix this or is there something I can/need to do now to fix it?
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Simple Documentation] Custom WordPress Roles Supported?Très bien, merci, je l’apprécie vraiment. Rock On!
Cheers!
Nevermind! I didn’t figure out how to manually update the WordPress data table row, but in the Wordfence Security “Options” I checked the box for Wordfence to delete its data tables upon deactivation (It’s near the very bottom in the option settings). Now I can duplicate my package with no problems.
Just a note if any one has problems with duplicating packages with Wordfence Security plugin.

In reply to: [XPoster - Share to Bluesky and Mastodon] Great plugin; even better supportThat is one STELLAR REVIEW man!
I’m looking to get the PRO developer’s license so i can have it part of my web & marketing packages. I never got to use WP to Twitter though. I installed it and was so amazed at all the options I just knew it was awesome, lol. It was a little too much for me to dive into though at the time with clients who didn’t need that much and I had no price set up for such. And seeing it constantly over time updated and expounded, I was coming by to download it, go through it, understand it more and get the developer’s license. Can’t Wait! — Oh in my time I’ve also noticed that there seems to be no other Twitter plugin that offers the options WP to Twitter does, not even close. That is why I knew this was my first stop. I’ve never seen a free or premium author have a set up like this for Twitter.
Again, great review!
No problem @einstein1972, I thought this post got deleted. I tried posting it 3 times and never seen it post.
Note: I had someone else tell me they don’t get this message when changing their wp.config.php permissions. I don’t remember exactly what I was doing when I got this permissions message, but I know it was from Quick Cache in red alert in the Quick Cache settings area.
I got it while following my normal steps using the Ninja Security plugin from codecanyon.
None the less this plugin was too old for me to discuss or test it out to see again. It just hasn’t been updated enough for me to use my time to test it.
I finding if you just use the right plugins and build your site clean form the start, there isn’t much need for speed plugins. My websites load at least 44% faster other tested websites according to Pingdom and I haven’t done anything yet that Yahoo’s Yspeed suggest to do for better loading speed. Can’t wait till I get around to that portion 😉
Kudos.
