Yup I can confirm as of right now on a new site Im currently building, that the woocommerce_shop_messages shortcode does not work for me, but woocommerce_messages does.
I’m glad I found this thread. The woocommerce docs don’t even include this in the list of “included shortcodes.”
Using a brand new install of wordpress, woo canvas theme, woocommerce & woocommerce shortcodes. All fresh downloads about a week ago.
Just FYI as the ladder works fine.
